Tanera,

“the turbulent, the vibrant”

From mouth to end, the river Dender is 67 km long, connects with the river Schelde and offers a unique experience for anyone who loves nature, history, and adventure.
The water level of the river is controlled by eight impressive works of art, which play a crucial role in the management and conservation of the river.

I explore the Dender and it’s landscape in different ways: biking along the banks,
walking along the trails, boating on the water.
Each exploration brings new stories and encounters.

Recently, the river was in the media because of the floods.

This is an ongoing project where I get carried away on this fantastic Belgian river.
